TRAGIC DEATH IN VERONA

Romeo was a wealthy Montague living in Verona. He was 17 years old. He had just gotten out of a relationship and was heartbroken. He was looking for love. Little did he know that he was going to find love, and that love would kill. His family hated the Capulets. His best friend was Mercutio, which was the prince’s cousin.

Juliet was also wealthy, but the difference between her and Romeo was that Romeo was a Montague and Juliet was a Capulet. Also that she was 12 years old. She had a nurse that was like her best friend and mother at times. Her parents think that she should marry Paris but Juliet didn’t want to. Then she met Romeo and they fell in love. But she was very young.

The nurse was Juliet’s best friend and she said, “I was only trying to help my lady Juliet find love. I never knew that tragedy would happen. I should’ve told her to marry Paris in the first place so this wouldn’t happen. I miss her very, very much.”

Benvolio was Romeos cousin and was the one that didn’t want to fight. He said, “Oh Romeo, why did he have to kill Tybalt in the first place. If he didn’t kill Tybalt he wouldn’t be in this mess and Juliet and he wouldn’t have died.”

I think that the prince will punish the two households by making them both pay for the damages that they did. I think that the friar will be up for trial and lord Montague, because the friar gave Juliet the potion. also lord montague because if he would've let Juliet marry whoever she wanted this wouldn't of happen either.

MERCY KILLING-EUTHANASIA

1a. George shot Lennie because Curley was going to murder Lennie and Lennie had no way of surviving. But he did it out of love. Also because george was looking out for Lennie.
1b. I think it was right for George to kill Lennie because if they ran away the same thing might of happened again but it would be worse. also because Lennie's mind wasn't functioning right anymore.

2a. The father pulled the plug on his daughter. He pulled it because he knew she wasn't going to revive. Also because that was her last wish. To die instead of being kept alive artificially. he lost hope of her revivng because it had been so long.
2b. I agree with the father for a couple of reasons. For one, if that was the daughters last wish he should do it. Also because if he was keeping her alive for nothing he would just waste money.

3a. He was paranoid because of finacial needs. that he wouldn't get another job to feed his family. Also because he was sad and frustrated. He lost hope because he had no job and couldn't support his five kids under eight years old and no place to go.
3b. He could've supported his children in others ways that didnt include money. Like for one, he could've gotten welfare. He also could've gotten help from the government and they could've gave him money for each child.

4. I think that euthanasia is okay for certain conditions. One reason is if someone is in a coma and they aren't going to revive. Another exception is if you think that someone can't survive anymore even if they have help. But it's also like murder in a way. Another exception is if a girl got raped and she wanted an abortion.

Of Mice and Men

1. I think kit was right for Lennie to fight Curley. There could've been another solution though. I think that George could've helped Lennie out by taking Curley off of him.

2. I think that Lennie should be working like everyone else. Only because he's mentally challenged doesn't mean he can't work. i don't think that Lennie should be separated from society because then he would probably be more crazy.

3. I do think Curley could gain respect without being aggressive. I think that he would actually gain more respect from workers. Then people would be nicer to him too.

4. I don't think it's OK because she's married with Curley. Also because then Curley might see her and either he would get mad at her or get furious with Slim because he might think that Slim is flirting with her. then there would be even more of a conflict between Slim and Curley.
